    Hi Jac

Your post just reminded me that I have the same problem with my new bathroom sink and titanium ring and I've been meaning to fix it.

I found this thread web page which has few suggestions. http://www.finishing.com/188/28.shtml.

i think I may contact the maunufacturer.

I hope someone else can respond with an OS remedy (dont fancy paying £18 for a piece of rubber)

I think OH used one of those sponges you use for non-stick pans. The non-scratch scourer type ones.
Grocery Challenge August = £300 hopefully!

We don't need to do it perfectly - good enough is exactly that GOOD ENOUGH.

Astonish Oven and cookware Cleaner, they sell it in HomeBargains, 89p. A drop of water and some on a kitchen scourer works, you do have to rub it quite a lot but it definately works, I used it on my brand new basin in the bathroom which my hubby scratched with his titanium wedding ring!

I use Astonish - but I'm just about to try Barkeepers friend £1.99 from a company based in the Lake District! Only as I can't find any Astonish.

I simply use a sheet of very fine wet n dry sandpaper, it works for me but I do have to be gentle.
