This Forum Tip was included in MoneySavingExpert's weekly email

Don't miss out on new deals, loopholes, and vouchers

This thread is for codes ONLY, NOT discussion.

If you haven’t already, join the forum to reply. If you aren’t sure how it all works, read our New to Forum? Intro Guide.

There are lots more offers, deals and "how-to" in the Cheap Cinema Tickets, Free Preview Cinema Tickets and Days Out Deals Notes.

    What's the deal?

There are a host of hidden companies that allow you (and a friend) to see films for free, and before they're released; often thousands of tickets are available. These agencies work as publicists with the intention of getting people to spread the word about the films they see. It's good psychology, after all if you've seen something for nothing, you may be more favourable to it - meaning your friends may pay to see it.

    Agencies

Sign up to agencies' email addresses so you'll be notified of the screenings. Be aware that you're likely to get some 'third party' promotional stuff through to the same address, that's the price you pay. You could use a second e-mail address for this sort of material; many freebie hunters do this as a matter of course. You can set up a Hotmail or Gmail account in minutes, just be sure to check it occasionally! (see this week's gmail tip for info)

How do I then get to see a film?

When preview screenings become available, you'll recieve a code in your email which you can use to redeem tickets on the relevant website. Just type it in and follow the on-screen instructions to claim tickets. You'll usually get two tickets for each screening. They're non-transferable, so if you want to swap them you'll need to change the booked name by email.

    See latest codes reported below

Many people publish the latest codes for films below (wonderfully kept in order by MoneySavers Heatherw_01 and sarah1972), to use them you need to be registered with the above sites anyway. This thread is just for codes, if you want to discuss offers go to the Free cinema tickets discussion thread

Sunday 1st May code 151702 SFF

Starring Meryl Streep and Hugh Grant and directed by Stephen Frears (Philomena, The Queen, Mrs Henderson Presents), FLORENCE FOSTER JENKINS is the true story of the legendary New York heiress and socialite who obsessively pursued her dream of becoming a great singer. The film celebrates the human spirit, the power of music and the passion of amateurs everywhere. The voice Florence (Streep) heard in her head was beautiful, but to everyone else it was hilariously awful. Her devoted husband and manager, St Clair Bayfield (Grant), an aristocratic English actor, was determined to protect his beloved Florence from the truth. But when Florence decided to give a public concert at Carnegie Hall in 1944, St Clair knew he faced his greatest challenge. Code

Down-on-their-luck punk rockers The Ain’t Rights agree to a last-minute gig in a backwoods Oregon roadhouse. The gig soon takes a sinister turn as the band members stumble upon a grisly murder scene and find themselves targeted by a ruthless club owner and his associates, determined to eliminate all witnesses.
From the internationally acclaimed filmmaker Jeremy Saulnier (BLUE RUIN), GREEN ROOM is a nerve shredding thrill-ride with a thick vein of dark humour, featuring a gripping ensemble performance from Patrick Stewart, Anton Yelchin, Imogen Poots, Alia Shawkat, Joe Cole, Macon Blair and Callum Turner.

Around the story of Jemmy Button, a native of Tierra Del Fuego who briefly became a celebrity in England before returning to Chile, documentarian Patricio Guzm!n (Nostalgia For The Light) has crafted a beautiful yet often harrowing account of Chile’s troubled and troubling relationship with the Pacific Ocean.

Aided by interviews with eminent social historians, anthropologists and tribal elders, Guzm!n links the virtual eradication of entire indigenous groups along Chile’s coastline in the 1800s with the Pinochet government’s dumping of thousands of ‘disappeared’ political prisoners into the sea over a century later.

The director’s unrushed and persuasive narration, together with the stunning cinematography by regular collaborator Katell Djian, drives this evocative testament to lost cultures, both past and present.

Contains images of real dead bodies and references to torture.

Whilst ensconced there, she decides to secure a husband for herself and a future for her eligible but reluctant daughter, Frederica.

In doing so she attracts the simultaneous attentions of the young, handsome Reginald DeCourcy, the rich and silly Sir James Martin and the divinely handsome, but married, Lord Manwaring, complicating matters severely.

SING STREET takes us back to 1980s Dublin where an economic recession forces Conor out of his comfortable private school and into survival mode at the inner-city public school where the kids are rough and the teachers are rougher.

He finds a glimmer of hope in the mysterious and über-cool Raphina, and with the aim of winning her heart he invites her to star in his band’s music videos.
She agrees, and now Conor must deliver what he’s promised – calling himself “Cosmo” and immersing himself in the vibrant rock music trends of the ‘80s, he forms a band with a few lads, and the group pours their hearts into writing lyrics and shooting videos.
