Default Things that need to be reinvented/redesigned

I have one example - the umbrella. When it rains, its normally windy and with the slightest breeze, umbrellas blow inside out. It doesn't matter if I paid 3 or 33 for my umbrella, it still blows inside out. The umbrella needs to be redesigned to be more useful in windy weather.

This is why I don't like umbrellas

Except for the horror of getting your tackle caught in it.
I have no signature.

If I took an umbrella out in the rain where I live I'd get beaten up
Something unpredictable might happen

I've given up bothering with umbrellas, I find my head is pretty waterproof

Take the wings off aeroplanes and put umbrellas along the top of the fuselage. Every umbrella I've owned has been the most perfect aerofoil ever designed.

"Jiffy" bags and bubble wrap should be redesigned with helium in the bubbles to save postage and make things easier to carry.

You beat me to the punchline Trazy

I remember my dad telling me that I shouldn't worry about the rain as my skin is waterproof after all look at how much water it holds in.
But, he said I should watch out for the sun as skin is not fireproof

I have always wondered why people who complain about umbrella's even bother with them, they already know that they will turn inside out at the slightest breeze and yet still persist on buying them.
If they want their clothes and in most cases their hairstyle to stay dry then the best option has to be a decent overcoat with a hood.
I remember Billy Connolly commenting during one of his tours that 'there is no such thing as bad weather, only the wrong clothes'
It's so nice to be insane,
No-one asks you to explain.
