I have one example - the umbrella. When it rains, its normally windy and with the slightest breeze, umbrellas blow inside out. It doesn't matter if I paid £3 or £33 for my umbrella, it still blows inside out. The umbrella needs to be redesigned to be more useful in windy weather.

This is why I don't like umbrellas

Take the wings off aeroplanes and put umbrellas along the top of the fuselage. Every umbrella I've owned has been the most perfect aerofoil ever designed.

"Jiffy" bags and bubble wrap should be redesigned with helium in the bubbles to save postage and make things easier to carry.

I remember my dad telling me that I shouldn't worry about the rain as my skin is waterproof after all look at how much water it holds in.
But, he said I should watch out for the sun as skin is not fireproof

If they want their clothes and in most cases their hairstyle to stay dry then the best option has to be a decent overcoat with a hood.
