I recommend "Danny The Champion Of The World"

This film is really good and with some excellent actors. We read the book @ school and it was lovely to recall the memories of the book with the movie.

    I watched Molly's Game yesterday.

It's a very long movie, over 2 hours and although I don't understand poker (there was some explaining of it which I still didn't get), I enjoyed the visually glamorous side of it and it held my attention all the way through the film (which is difficult to do most of the time).

Dragon Blade (Netflix) - In Mandarin with subtitles starring Jackie Chan and John Cusack. The story is about the squad protecting the Silk Road during the Han Dynasty and also features a number of Roman Centurions. While the action scenes were good the story was distinctly ropey with plenty of cardboard cutout characters trying to ring emotion out of nothing (e.g. one particularly cringy scene where the entire Roman squadron are in tears due to a princeling singing a song in Latin).

The Space Between Us (Netflix) - this one was much better. It's a love story across space. The main character is a boy born on Mars after his astronaut mother gives birth and then dies shortly after landing on the planet. He becomes pen friends with a girl in the US and the story details his efforts to come to earth and meet her.

Finally got to see The Lego Movie - really liked it!

Also got to see Hellboy 2 - it was quite good, but I think the first was better.

    Acts of Violence.

An action film with Bruce Willis.

    It was just okay.

But once again Bruce Willis only has a small part.

    http://www.imdb.com/title/tt6684714/

''When his fiancee is kidnapped by human traffickers, Roman (Ashton Holmes) and his ex-military brothers set out to track her down and save her before it is too late. Along the way, Roman teams up with Avery (Bruce Willis), a cop investigating human trafficking and fighting the corrupted bureaucracy that has harmful intentions''.

PS: I'm that Bruce Willis Is Starring in the Remake of Death Wish.

RIP Charles Bronson. Long gone, but never forgotten.

    Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri.

10/10. The best of the three excellent films we’ve seen recently. It had humour, pathos and philosophy, in a very ordinary Sourthern town.

Pity about the inane giggling from two old women further along the row.
