I recommend "Danny The Champion Of The World"

This film is really good and with some excellent actors. We read the book @ school and it was lovely to recall the memories of the book with the movie.

We as a family went to see Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children last night. We all enjoyed it and it's not as wacky as some Tim Burton films. I do have a bit of a crush on Eva Green (there is something about her) which helped!

Note: I was one of the 48.1%, so please don't blame me!

Adult World, about a poet who finds themselves working in adult entertainment. It's supposed to be a sort of comedy, it's not crude at all. I found it enjoyable, with a feel good factor (no pun intended) and a few funny moments. Worth watching.

Miss Peregrines home for peculiar children - Enjoyable - not typical Tim Burton style of film but he was definatley "there". I liked it.

Pressure - Amazon Prime - very character focused. Not my cup of tea.

Hot Pursuit - Nowtv - Thought this was pretty funny in places. Enjoyable watch

My Scientology Movie - Louis Theroux. Fantastic! Always good to what these nutjobs are up to and Louis really drives them mad although he is a little freaked out by them. Five stars.

Not bad Danish horror/thriller flick on NowTV

Kind of cross between 'ginger snaps' and 'let the right one in'

I watched Regression the other day. It was surprisingly good.
Its one of those watch once movies similar to things like shutter island, 6th sense etc where once the ending is known its not as good.

    Not bad movie on NowTV

Chloë Grace Moretz Was great in it

    Didn't see the twist

Not bad story though bit drawn out, bit sparse on action. (Still watchable though)

Batman v Superman. What a boring overlong steaming pile of turd. We borrowed the extended version from a friend and it seemed to go on forever. I fell asleep for the middle bit and when I woke up a bit later it was still going on. There might have been a plot but I can't fathom it.

Tonight on Netflix I watched 'Would you rather'. It's meant to be gruesome but it's quite silly that its amusing. Worth watching and only 90 mins long.

    Deepwater Horizon.

Full of dark foreboding in ordinary domestic details with perfect performances from John Malkovich (cost cutting, cynical BP executive), Kurt Russell (hard bitten safety officer going forward with severe misgivings) and Mark Wahlberg as the 'ordinary' engineer with family at home.

The disaster scenes are awful and shocking and not overly sentimental and there's a scene right at the very end, where you see the 'real' people portrayed in the film, a brief snippet of the inquiry and a short memorial to those who died.

    Thoroughly recommend it.
Don't know what I'm doing, but doing it anyway...

OK this one is good ..

If you like Zombie films and want something that is familair but not quite what you had before ..

Like a kebab ..in nan bread with curry sauce

    Train to Busan

Ok it is Korean ..with subtitles ..And set on a train //But my OH cried at the end ..How many zombie flicks get that result ?

    here is a trailer https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pyWuHv2-Abk
as I really did not expect this when I downloaded it ..and for any deeper high brow types..There is some good social commentary on Korean culture ..Albeit wrapped in blood and trying to rip your throat out.

I rate this one ..Really enjoyed the idea ..characters and action
