    Official MSE Insert:

Thanks to Grimbal for starting this thread, where compulsive Rightmove browsers share their funniest finds. Scroll down for Playboy mansions, unusual extensions, toilets in wardrobes and mysterious presences under bedcovers.

    Back to the original post...

Thought I'd start off a new thread as the other one was getting to be pretty long. The old thread can be found here.

How about starting up a thread dedicated to the interesting properties that we come across in our searches ?

I'm guessing these guys don't invite their granny over to watch TV

If I lived closer I'd love to go and have a poke around that place, if anything just to see what the other 7 bedrooms are like!

Weird place, though. The bedrooms and sitting room say 'old person with hoarding tendencies and carer in a much too large house', but the kitchen and the other (tidier) downstairs rooms suggest more activity?

Something (can't quite put my finger on it) tells me these were elderly peoples' houses:

Stairs don't seem to lead anywhere - presumably for cats!

    I like the catio, actually.

I can't take them (on principle) anyway - as they'd pay me less because of being a woman.

So I had to make a decision I'd never have one unless and until that malarkey stops (yes...I know the excuse for it happening). "Women live longer than men blah blah blah"

Been googling how to purchase a derelict hotel...

I can't stop thinking about it... shame those grand design and restoration man tv shows don't show you have to get the funding to achieve such a thing...
