Default Jobseekers Allowance - rapid reclaim...same sign on day?

Hi,

I was just wondering after signing off Jobseekers to do a Christmas job, and then reclaiming it, are you given a completely new sign on day and time, or are you allowed to keep the same one you had when originally signed on?

Thanks for your help.

New claim would mean new day and time.

I thought the day you sign on on JSA is linked to you NI number. So if your NI number group is for a Friday for example your day will always be a Friday (unless they change the day but that will change all NI number group days).
