    hi everyone

New on here not new to debt was married for 10 years and we seperated so i took any debt that was in my name and he took his debt

By OMG what a mess got my credit card statement in and it was for £6000 and this was may last year but i've ploughed extra money into this credit card every month and i'm thrilled to say that in 16 months i am just above the £3000 mark

    Debts June 2009
    Capital One Card £6000
    BOS CC £1700
Car Finance This finished in August 2012 @ £124 a month fixed payments
DFS Couch This finishes 2013 @55.63 a month fixed payments

    Debts October 2010
Capital One Card £3245.39 Paying £200 a month into this
BOS CC £1559.81 Paying minimum payment of £34

I have cancelled my Capital One Card so just paying the balance off interest is roughly £50 a month but last year is was over £80 a month so saving £30 already

Also do not have my PIN number of the BOS Card either so haven't spent on wither card since June 2009

My plan is to concentrate on the Capital One Card and if i continue paying £200 a month i will have this cleared in 18 months so it'll be paid off in April 2012 but my aim is to have it paid off before xmas next year!!!!

The the BOS card will be paid off using the excess £200 plus the £34 it'll only take me 7 month to pay that off which by that time i'll only have paid the final instalment of my little car so i'll have £360 a month spare so will whack that into my couch.

well it's a plan and so far i've stuck to it for a year and feel good esp when my ex husband complaining he's up to his eyeballs on debt when he went on a spending spree and bought a 10 grand car

My kids are 8 and 4 and they are even getting into the frugal life my daughter heads to the sale rail of any clothes shop or the reduced counter at supermarkets and she loves getting bargain

    sorry to waffle on lol

Gutted the corner of doom in the kitchen
Put the outside lights on the house and garage (hubby doesn't like heights)

    Hello

Sorry I keep skipping a day didn't finish work til 5.30pm last night then straight out doing avon and didn't stop til about 10pm but it was a successful collection so far I have £650 in orders........I'm happy with that considering all the pjs that were ordered are out of stock I kid you not about 10 pairs of pjs so I'm down £100 in orders but they'll come next time I guess

Still got a couple of people to get the books back from but I'm happy with what I've got means less running about next week as it's the last delivery before Xmas

Started work at 7.30am set up playgroup £2 16 kids attended. Paid the rent for the room hire which comes out of the playgroup funds. Organised everyone to bring something to the party which is in two weeks only got three more people to chase up and see what they want to bring xx

Went to the bakers spent £4.10 on 2 rolls and a cake for Kk came home and ate lunch before taking the boys back to nursery ......my other mindee was meant to show up and I've just received a text saying they aren't well....poor wee soul so I have a couple of hours to myself and I'll be doing washings and wrapping Xmas presents living the dream lol

Sent £13 towards the Halifax I'm gutted I can't fling more at it just now but I suppose I should be grateful for not adding too much to my debt (Argos card and very will be cleared before the new year) I hope as soon as my credit card is under £4K I'll be clearing very and Argos of the Xmas presents as I want the little accounts gone before the remortgaging process starts in March

Right I'm off to pull presents out of the cupboard wish me luck

Your an absolute machine and your motivation is just amazing!

How is Abbie getting on at school now, I hope she is feeling better. Luke is getting on a bit better, I ended up phoning his guidance teacher who was fab and she emailed all his teachers just to give them a heads up. Prelims in jan so time will tell but the hypnosis definitely calms him down.

Not sure what school Abbie is at but dd has just today been told where her school placement is for jan and she is delighted....she got St Joseph's! Thanks goodness it's only half an hour away, the last one was Renfrew

    Hope you had fun wrapping

Abbie is doing a lot better, she actually took matter she into her own hands informed the teachers what she was going through and they have all very very supportive of her..........she also did her English talk in front of her whole class and outed herself as someone who experiences mental health issues e.g. Anxiety and down thoughts to show them that just because you can put a smile on your face and "act" like everything's is ok doesn't mean that person doesn't have struggles. Her classmates were very shocked but it did raise a lot of awareness within her class

I'm so proud of her as that's would have been a very difficult thing to do as it makes people look at you differently so I'm hoping she's turned a corner xx

You're a human dynamo Abba, can I have some of your energy please?

What do you do with your Avon money? Do you put it towards debt or general expenses?

You're working so hard you deserve to pay off your debts very soon .

Normally I half the money and put half towards the debt and the other half is for the purse saves me dipping into the bank account but the last couple of orders half has went towards the Xmas shopping and and the other half has been spent on stuff like hotel rooms for abbies concert and deposit for xanders school trip next year

So I've just placed my order tonight and I've got £750 in orders apparently the pjs that were out of stock are now in stock so I've placed order early before they decide they aren't in stock any more

I'll gain about £170 in commission so I'll chuck £100 towards the Halifax once the money is all collected and the rest will go in my purse and it means I don't need to touch the money in my bank........makes it look better when we go to remortgage

Wow Abba you must be so proud! That must have taken a massive amount of courage for Abbie to do that, what a girl, she is obviously made of tough stuff just like her mum
Hopefully if anyone else was struggling then perhaps she has also given them the confidence to talk to someone, I always think that it only takes 1 person to open the door for lots of others.

Going to take a drive to St J's tomorrow to let dd see where it's located, she does have a wee car but she's not a confident driver, think there might be a few trips over the next few weeks till she's confident....not so great for the petrol budget though

Well done on the Avon, just fantastic! xx

    Evening

Been a very productive day today

Set up playgroup 16 kids attended kids had a blast

Came home fed the kids their lunch put a washing on then took the kids to nursery

Came home ready for my next mindee decided we would wrap some presents managed to get my nine mindees presents all wrapped and put into their invidivual gift bags along with their arts and craft presents and some chocolate tree decorations they all are laid out in my kitchen, my little mindee wrapped her dollies up and stuck them under her tree for her mummy to find

After my mindee lef with her wrapped up dollies I collected the kids from the school run and they all chilled out with a movie and popcorn as they were all shattered, finished work at 5.30pm wasn't too bad I guess

Sent £100 to the barclaycard and £92.40 towards the Halifax ...tomorrow will be when I get my new statement for the Halifax interested to see how much I've saved on interest as last month I saved over £15 we shall see doubt it will be that much xx

Our brand new shiny car that we got last year is gubbed so we are handing it back to the dealership and we are getting another car will be test driving the new car tomorrow and see what our options are tomorrow

Off to put my boys to bed xx

    Morning

It's blooming freezing I'm wrapped up in. My super fleecy house coat and yet I'm still cold

Kk woke up with a temperature so we heard having a quiet day in the house today as he doesn't want to go to toddlers ..........saves me at least £10

Had to put a wash on as poor Kk has this dreaded cough and he was sick with all the coughing but he brought up quite a bit of phlegm which is normally a good thing for him thank goodness at least it's not sitting in his chest

I am working today but they are all playing with the Lego building castles so thought I would check my banking and sent £8.08 towards the Halifax card

Checked my statements and I've saved £3.15 in interest plus I've worked out within two statements (Octobers and November) I've paid off £1031.73 didn't realise it was that much I'm so pleased still hoping to get it under the £4K mark by the end of the year it's a challenge but I'm on it xx

Need to move the Florida tin elsewhere as it's getting so heavy and I'm scared it will snap my shelf that's a good sign isn't it???

So we are having a day at the house today because of how Kk is which is fine by me I need to get toilet paper but I'll get that tonight when we've are on the way to test drive the potential new car so it should be a lsd xx
