Abba1772's Debt Free Diary 26th Oct 10 at 11:38 PM
    hi everyone

New on here not new to debt was married for 10 years and we seperated so i took any debt that was in my name and he took his debt

By OMG what a mess got my credit card statement in and it was for £6000 and this was may last year but i've ploughed extra money into this credit card every month and i'm thrilled to say that in 16 months i am just above the £3000 mark

    Debts June 2009
    Capital One Card £6000
    BOS CC £1700
Car Finance This finished in August 2012 @ £124 a month fixed payments
DFS Couch This finishes 2013 @55.63 a month fixed payments

    Debts October 2010
Capital One Card £3245.39 Paying £200 a month into this
BOS CC £1559.81 Paying minimum payment of £34

I have cancelled my Capital One Card so just paying the balance off interest is roughly £50 a month but last year is was over £80 a month so saving £30 already

Also do not have my PIN number of the BOS Card either so haven't spent on wither card since June 2009

My plan is to concentrate on the Capital One Card and if i continue paying £200 a month i will have this cleared in 18 months so it'll be paid off in April 2012 but my aim is to have it paid off before xmas next year!!!!

The the BOS card will be paid off using the excess £200 plus the £34 it'll only take me 7 month to pay that off which by that time i'll only have paid the final instalment of my little car so i'll have £360 a month spare so will whack that into my couch.

well it's a plan and so far i've stuck to it for a year and feel good esp when my ex husband complaining he's up to his eyeballs on debt when he went on a spending spree and bought a 10 grand car

My kids are 8 and 4 and they are even getting into the frugal life my daughter heads to the sale rail of any clothes shop or the reduced counter at supermarkets and she loves getting bargain

    sorry to waffle on lol

    Evening

    Nsd day here today

Got up late as kids slept in was just getting dressed when my brother came round for a visit with my niece

After they left decided I would gut the boys room ready for Xmas I know I know I'm early but I needed down, was ruthless with toys and clothes got one black bag for the bin, two black bags full of toys that I don't think would sell as well as a huge pile of toys which will go on sale on fb/gumtree and a huge pile of clothes from Xander that no longer fit him that'll hopefully get sold........any money made from sales are going into the Florida savings tin

Quite happy with that only room upstairs needing gutted is the bathroom but I'll do that after everyone has had their showers tonight after dinner xx

I could do with hiring you. You're so ruthless with your clearing out.

Well done with the Avon orders. I can't imagine what you need to get to be a gold rep.

    Evening

Is Tuesday yet it feels like this week is dragging in

My eldest two are away to London so got up made hubby his breakfast (toast) and a coffee as well as husband sandwiches for lunch and then organised the two black bags which I would be taking to the charity shop later on today

Got all the kids off and dropped the eldest off to their minibus and then jumped on the bus £4 went to toddlers £2 kids were sweating with tall the running about they do came home got lunch then straight back out again for the nursery run

Came home grabbed the two black bags for the charity shop and literally ran. to catch the bus which was 5. Minutes early I'm so unfit dropped the bags off and then nipped into Iceland for bread £1

Came home and chilled for half an hour on trashy tv then picked up my mindee then Got Kk from nursery who are now both sitting out on the couch playing kks tablet xx

Cash out another £21.83 from pa.......still got £8 pending this money is going into my Xmas fun where so far we have £270 as well as the £100 Sainsburys voucher and £8 worth of nectar points

Think I might as sold another game on fb......sales are quite slow tbh I normally sell the kids clothes first but not even a bit of interest........still to put the big bundle of paw patrol on so hopefully they'll collect the game and that's another £8 in the Florida tin

Off to put the washing on the radiators xx

    Morning

I need matchsticks for thee eyes

Yesterday was non stop from 7am til I stopped at 9 after doing my avon deliveries legs were aching thought I was in for a good nights sleep........ nope got up at 3.30am as I needed to Pee the. Couldn't get back to sleep cause of the stupid wind started nodding off properly until my door went and there were my mindees at 7am as I thought I didn't start til 9am so it's going to be one of those days

Sold kks pile of clothes that no longer fit for £22 straight to the Florida tin and collected the money for the baby monitors so another £5 in there as well and I have someone come round to purchase xanders two piles of clothes this morning for eighteen quid so that's about £58 I've made since the weekend and there's still things I've to put up for sale including a pile of paw patrol and a huge matchbox toy so I'm hoping for more money for my Florida tin this weekend xx

Managed to deliver over £300 of orders last night I've got deliveries right through the day today so hoping to collect another £300 in orders today

Working 7am til 5pm have playgroup to set up will wait and see whatcha the weather is like as if it's miserable I'll just get my bread and milk from the wee local shops but if it's dryer then I'll take a wee waLk up to the town as need to get batteries to check one of the toys I'm selling works

    Is it bed time yet

Well I've so far collected over £630 in orders

Got a couple more to deliver tonight just need another £35 to pay my invoice them the rest is all mine

Didn't go to weigh in today as had dentist check up......teeth all healthy

Went to home bargains and spent £9.55 on conditioner, bars of soap, 2 multi packs of my crisps, 2 packs of my face wipes and 2 packs of sparklers

Bought the boys Xbox one for their Xmas cost me £172 compared to £369 brand new, it's second hand but I get a two year warranty with it don't even get that with a brand new one and it has double the memory

Unfortunately their Xbox 360 died at the weekend so they will just need to make do with their other consoles until Santa comes xx

So I'll keep an eye out for any cheap games on the fb selling pages and just put them by plus need to buy another controller as only got one with it as standard xx

Glad I've got the boys main out of the way now to get abbies which will be a laptop as she has exams next year

Sent a cheeky 45p towards the Halifax card

Hope you're all having a fab weekend xx

    Evening

Waiting for the potatoes to boil so thought I would pop on

Kids are off school for their kids October break but had to get them up for playgroup £2 but it was surprisly quiet only 21 kids

Came home made the kids their lunch and put my sausage veg and gravy in the slow cooker and peeled potatoes ready for tonight

Wentdown to hubby's garage to help out..... I think we helped but he looked highly stressed but poor Abbie was all dirty as she got stuck in helping her dad she's now in the shower

Sent £107 towards the Halifax and sent £100 towards the barclaycard

I'm feeling hopeful I might be able to get this Halifax under the £5k mark this would be a great accomplishment I reckon considering how tight I've been with money

Been a lsd today but need to nip to lidl for juice, cold meat and maybe cheese after I've dropped Abbie off at playgroup
