Best smartphone for 100 14th Oct 10 at 10:24 PM
I'd like to purchase a smartphone and would appreciate some recommendations on the best one available for 100.

I'm with T-Mobile so unlock costs would be useful, if the phone is not unlocked at the outset.

    Thank you
    Richard

Orange San Francisco is about that money, Android 2.1, 3.5" Capacitive touch screen.
    99p Unlock Solution available.

Search the forums as there has been a discussion about it recently.

You can get the T-mobile Pulse Mini for 79.99. Only problem with this is it resistive touch screen, which means it works better with a stylus than it does with fingers.

if I may re-iterate. The Orange Sanfrancisco IS the best option for under 100 at the time of writing. 3's Zte Racer, Vodaphones sub 100 (845?), and Tmobile's Pulse and Pulse mini don't even come close to the quality of this baby.

it literally is the best thing since Jesus Christ came and sliced bread

Buy It! Besides it's one of the cheapest to unlock. can't go wrong for 99p on ebay can you?

    hi all,
i am to looking for a cheapo smartphone but will go to 150.
i have just signed from a 30 day rolling with TMOB to there 12 month 600mins 500 text 3gb data and unlimited landline at a bargain 7.50 per month.
i have been looking at the san francisco as an option.
you can buy this from orange for around 100.
what i dont understand is why they are on ebay for upto 150, ok they have been unlocked and rooted, but why so much difference.

Get the San Francisco - it's excellent and works perfectly on T-Mobile after being unlocked.
