Car Radio Unlocking

Can someone please help. I borrowed my sons car the other night and left a light on which caused the batt to go flat and the radio has lost its code. I am in the dog house! It is a Clarion PU-2294B(D) from a 2001 Saxo, serial No. CL0402Y0271380. Any help with a code would be much appreciated.

I have probably the same problem like others, Bought a car (opel corsa), after checking engine needed to disconnect battery and didn't think of a code for radio Now it displays SAFE
Could anybody please help with a code?

make is VDO CDR 500, s/n : GM050011105846

I locked my Ford radio out, but stupid me didn't know about codes and thought it was trying to reset the time! I therefore kept punching numbers until it really locked out...

When I contacted Ford, they said I would need to remove the radio and they'd "send it off" to be reset, but couldn't confirm how much it'd cost me. I'm talking about an 18-yr-old radio/cassette player in a car that I'm scrapping next month, so it ain't worth spending money on, but in the meantime I hate driving without music.

Is there anything I can do???

Hi

My exhaust went and needed welding but had to disconnect battery in order to weld. I can't find the code with my paperwork and hoped someone on this forum could help.

Hi all,

If anyone can help me get a code to restore the stereo functionality on my wife's car (wife is convinced I have broken stereo after I put a new battery in her Astra) I would be really grateful!!

the stereo is a VDO CDA500,

the serial number stamped on the side is GM050021320774

After reading this thread I decided just to ring the renault dealer where I bought my car from for my code. No problem at all gave me code no charge and even offered tech help if needed just to ring back. Also offered to do for me if i was passing. So I would def rec this first before thinking of paying out.
