Download children's stories read by Brian Cant (voice of Trumpton, Chigley etc)
Was browsing on a site- Great Little Trading Company- and noticed this page, "Story Time with Brian Cant". He was in Playschool, Play Away and did the voices for different children's programmes. His voice really takes you back to your childhood....
He reads seven stories here: http://www.gltc.co.uk/fcp/content/FunBrian/funlist
(How the Rhinoceros Got His Skin, How the Camel Got His Hump, The Tortoise & the Hare, Cinderella, Snow White & the Seven Dwarfs, Three Little Pigs & The Emperor's New Clothes)
You can download them for Windows, Mac & MP3.

Thanks for that! I'll send them to my nephew and niece. His voice sounds a lot older than I remember, but still great to hear!

This is great, some classic stories, though Adaline is right and his voice sounds a lot older.

I wonder where else we could find free stories for children on-line? My daughter loved them!
