Exclamation Is BR a Cumulative Code

As title, is BR a cumulative code or is it applied only to each individual payment ?

Yes if its BR C.UM (filter wont let me put C.UM in without the full stop lol) then it is a cumulative tax code. If it is BR W1/M1 then no it is not cumulative.

My coding notice just says BR for the year 09/10 so I assume it will be cumulative which is OK as it is to correct HMRC's earlier !!!! up

No wonder it costs so much to run the system. 2 phone calls, 8 mailings from them and their time to put things back to where they were (correctly) at the beginning of the tax year, and me being paid 140 short this month which I will get back next. :rolleyes: If it aint broke don't try and fix it cos it only ends in tears !!
