Natwest student credit card has a maximum credit limit of 500 so you can't increase it.

I think most student credit cards act this way

I used to have a Natwest Student Credit Card too, 350 limit, have been using it for years but they always refused to increase the limit, saying that "there is no facility to increase credit limits on student credit cards".

However, a few months ago while paying in a cheque the counter staff aske me if I want to apply for a credit card. I asked am I recommended for? He said yes, led me to another room and completed the application, with 1200 limit.

Maybe this is the way - get a standard Credit Card with Natwest?
