Thank you very much Debt Free Wannabees!

I don't post much but I lurk all the time and read everyones posts. You all are so very friendly and give such good advice.

So its thanks to you that yesterday I paid off my credit card in full!! I now only have 2 debts left - my graduate loan and my student loan.

I first came onto this site in September 2004 and since then I have cleared 3 storecards, a big credit card payment and I have reduced my spending dramatically - so dramatically that you wouldnt believe!

So thanks to you all on here for your inspiration and thanks to Martin for a fab site.

looking forward to posting again when I am totally debt free!

Why don;t you post to help other people? You're clearly doping a good job on your own finances and could help some others with your tips.

skintchick - i might just start doing that!

I feel so happy to be in control of my money and spending. Cant believe I'm the same person that used spend, spend, spend on storecards and thought that credit cards wasnt 'real money'

i dread to think how much debt I was in - i just dealt with them one at a time.

I'm even in credit now! I have no overdraft (was £1800 and I would ask for a temporary £100 increase every month) plus I am even saving a little money every month.
