Free Unlock codes for Nokia Phones 2

Hiya guys,

I've just got my 6101 from the o2 student site with a lovely dab radio, but don't want to actually use the phone on o2, so hopefully someone on here can give me a hand.

The IMEI code is 356630009527908 and it is the rm-76 type (no idea if this makes a difference!)

Also, could someone explain if you need a different sim card in to make the code work or whether you just type it in when there's no sim in it like i did with my old nokia.

Oh dear. I'm afraid it says phone restriction on when I enter the code. Any other suggestions?

are you sure it says "phone restriction on" and not "off" as it usually says "code error" or "cannot undo restriction" if it wrong or run out of tries.
did you use a sim other than 02 to enter the code?
otherwise you can try this one

Still no luck I'm afraid. Just says phone restriction on, and then sometimes after that phone restricted. When I put the o2 card in it still works fine so it's obviously not totally locked up.

I'm confused! lol

Yep, that's what I did and still no luck. I've tried it with an orange and a virgin sim and it still isn't accepting either. Bloody thing! lol
