    capital one sent me a cover letter saying

    "Thank you for contacting us for copies of your statments.

    I've included copies of them with this letter.

    If we can help further, please call us on our freephone number, 0800 952 5150 we're here 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

    Customer Relations Manager"


    Needless to say there wasnt anything enclosed at all in this letter the bunch of useless muppets.

    Typical lawyers speak to put off the man in the street. They are trying to scare you enough so you don't continue your claim.

    Just carry on with your claim as normal.

    I have only recently signed up to this site and wondered if anyone can help?

    I have a Capital One credit card, and while at Uni incurred quite a few charges. Will I be able to reclaim 'Late Payment' fees or just 'Overlimit' charges?

    If I can claim back both then I can clear this card and say goodbye to Capital One....

    Any help on this would be gratefully appreciated, then I can crack on with getting money back from LloydsTSB!

    I sent them both a DPA letter requesting my statements and it ends on the 8th jan 07 i have heard nothing at all from them.

    I think capital bank is part of the bank of scotland group as its the company that i got car finance with via peugeot.I dont have any details regarding account numbers etc etc

    I cant seem to find a number for the capital bank plc can anyone help me out.

    Also what do i do about these companies?
