Starting again 10th Oct 17 at 10:00 AM
I did start a dairy didn't keep it up for long and then dropped off the radar completely, I watched the film the circle on Netflix and it got me thinking if I made myself transparent money wise and I mean account for every penny coming in and out I would be less likely to slip up again. So here I am once again with a reminder on my phone for daily updates.

Where I stand at the moment:
    Loan £30807.78
Step change £12908.56 (need to get off my !!! and sort this)
    Rent £565.95
My house needs a good de clutter and clean through
I need to focus on using up my food.

Nothing to come out today and I'm helping at my local take away so no food will be used up tonight either as I get a free meal.
Tonight's plan once I've finished both jobs today:
    • Put a wash load on
    • Put washing away
    • Wash up pots from this morning and dry them and put away
    • Make an inventory of all the food in the tin and packet cupboard
    • Take home made meal out for Wednesdays dinner as DD is out for a meal and I'm not at the take away shop
Small steps at a time and I will get there, I bought a new E-cig last night to quit smoking again as I have fallen back into that habit rather badly and I need the money to clear my debts.

I have sat during my break and done an excel spread sheet so I can fill in daily what I spent and it will automatically go to the category so I can easily keep track. I hope this will show me that I am living stupidly and start to rein things in.

I bought 2 eco eggs at the weekend for £7 so that should do 420 washes and I am going to bulk buy my conditioner and start using the right amount as I have just been filling the draw and it's a waste. I have now put shampoo, condition and shower gel in pump bottles as DD just squirts loads out and yet another way we waste things.

I think it's the little things that will help save the pennies in the long run. I'm just waffling away to myself now so I'll get off and back to work

    In my purse £49.23.
    Total £187.38

    Tesco car insurance paid £40.56
EE £38.00 needs to be taken off my loan as this is paid for the person I owe money to.

Today I work one job and I have the night off, DD is going out for a meal with her BF so me and Bear (my border collie) will be home alone so I think I will make some cakes some to freeze, and one for puddings during the week. I love baking and cooking it relaxes me so lots of my diary will be cooking related.

    Tonight's plan
    • Do the inventory from the tin and packet cupboard
    • Bake three cakes
    • Give the living room a good clean and scrub the rug
    • Put a wash load on
    • Sort out DD's clothes and either sell or charity the one that don't fit

I need to get petrol today as I'm running low so I will put £20 after work that will last me the rest of the week. I think I'm going to sit on the sofa tonight with bear and watch the next Victoria on ITV iplayer, I have found since not having a TV licence I'm not constantly having the TV on and obsessed with the soaps now I either watch Netflix or a few things I like on ITV iplayer. It's also nice to have peace and quiet in the house I really became a TV slave

Ok I promised this would be total transparency of my money, so I have to admit I just spent £3 on lunch at Morrison's as I forgot my lunch it's currently sat in my fridge at home, so annoyed with myself but it is what it is. I put £20 petrol in so that's all I should need to spend for the rest of the week. My E-cig is ok I am craving cigarettes a bit but I know from the past that will ease off. So that should be it for my money today just me to do list to do, looking forward to watching Victoria later with a hot chocolate and a slice of cake, plus cuddles from the bear.

Working at the take away tonight so the purse amount will increase after I get paid. The cakes are frozen and I had a slice this morning as I was rushing around like crazy.

Dinner will be given to me tonight by the take away, me and DD usually have meat feast pizza and chips with chip spice. This usually feeds both of us with a bit left over. This weekend I need to get bear his food for the month (might pick this up Friday night after work), I will need very little food as I have so much to use up. I'm going to make loads of pancakes and freeze then for breakfasts and a few puddings.

    Tonight's plan
    • Wash load on
    • Finish sorting DD's clothes
    • Clean cupboard under the sink
A small list tonight but once I finish both jobs I will have worked 16 hours Well I'm off for now

On Saturday it’s one of the women I work with birthday so round they came collecting now a bit of back story last February they stopped birthday collections a week before the lady sat opposite me had hers mine was in April I was also told quite abruptly in a team meeting there would be no collection done then suddenly a week before the managers birthday we were all doing the collections again I know it’s petty but it really annoyed me so today they came collecting the suggested amount is £2. The lady who does the collections approached me and the lady opposite me asked for £2 she looked in my purse as I opened it and started messing with the money and said just give me the fiver and put £3 on my desk this really annoyed me so I fished all my coins out all £1.23 of them picked up the £3 and put it in her hand closed my purse and put it in my bag. The lady opposite gave her a pound and smiled at me we were told she hoped people were less then generous to us come our birthdays to which I replied getting a 50p card would be an improvement on my last birthday collection I think the penny dropped and she quickly walked away. Ok petty maybe but things like that annoy me everyone should be treated the same sorry for the rant

Well done on the collection front... you're a better person than me though as I'd have refused to put anything in!

Chrystal Honestly I nearly told her to shove it but I do like the person they are collecting for me and the lady opposite have said we will only give for certain people this time around. If they do the same next time Iíll honestly hit the roof we normally get a card and cake to share round the office and a small token gift but itís nice to be treated on your birthday

Wages have been paid in £263.14 and DDís mobile has been paid by DD £60.53 this is high as DD wanted a new phone and I decided to get her what she wanted, it is part of her Christmas and Birthday presents, this will be looked at next time as she will be old enough to pay her own bill.

Today I am really tired and so glad I have the night off from the evening job, I need an early night.

    Plans for the weekend:

    • Get the living room finished I have some painting to do and I have the wallpaper I have everything I need just need to get it finished, going to rope DD in to help.
    • Clean the house through and catch up with the last bits of washing
    • Cut the hedges front and back (apparently the weather will be nice) but we ill see
    • If itís raining then it will be getting the hall way decorated too as I have bought everything I need to get that done to.

Going to a busy weekend so loud music and lots of coffee will be on the cards. I am working Saturday night for the take away but not sure what I will earn as Iím not sure if Iím driving or serving in the shop. That will go towards my debt, I plan on putting money on my rent card Saturday night and bringing that down a bit. Tuesday I can pay £600 off the loan so that will get me closer to my £800 a month target.
I am going to look for Hoover bags tonight as I was looking on Amazon and there seems to be re usable oneís available with really good reviews so I think I might look at those this time. I also need to get a new moon cup as mine is wearing out but I have had it about 8 years now so that has saved me a fortune during its life time.
    Thatís it for now.

My first NSD finally it took me a few days work was fun we werenít given the card to sign and no cake offered I have to laugh at the pettiness of it but me and my friend had the last laugh as she bought in some of her red velvet cake we had it at 2pm it is so good, that reminds me I must get the recipe. We just got on with work and had a good chat we often meet once a month at Costa but we have said we should meet at each otherís houses as she knows Iím paying debts off and she paying her mortgage off so we can support each other. Itís nice to have someone you can talk to as we are both single with one child and we both said today itís hard not having support while doing this so we are going to support each other.

Bears food still isnít in stock fingers crossed it will be at the weekend, Iíve made a food shopping list and the grand total of what I need is two bottles of milk so I am going to take two pound with me so I canít buy other stuff, DD wanted snacks tonight but I had to say no we still have three packets of Oreos I get from the market they were selling the three for a pound so I said she can have some of those or use her pocket money.

Iím off to watch the good place on Netflix itís a really good series nice to relax watching but first Iím going to make some far far my new favourite cheap snack.

Tomorrow I have to go to town as DD BFs mum gave birth last night so going to look for a bargain to give the baby and chocolates for mum. If anyone has an idea before tomorrow feel free to comment.

A spendy day today I was sorting out my clothes today two of my cardigans for work have worn out but I’ve had them for years so I had a look around the charity shops I found a Jane Norman jacket with tags still on it was originally £50 got it for £5 and two new cardigans for £7.63 from another one so they will keep me going.

Bought DDs bf new sister a toy from babiesrus for £6.99 it’s a cuddly toy with teething ring and different textures, chocolates for his mum cost me £10 and a bag and card £3.25 so a total of £20.24.

I also put £15 Petrol in the car and I spent 49p on a drink while shopping not too bad really as they were needs more then wants mostly wish I had planned better for the baby present but a lesson learnt.

I’ll get some back in my purse tonight as I’m working plus dinner free. Right off to get on with some jobs at home

I must get my butt in gear tomorrow.

DD's bf's mum loved the present for baby so I'm really pleased, plus she loves choccies so glad I spent the time looking around. Off to collect DD then bath and bed tonight.
