    It is useful seeing how people plan to track spending- I have tried several times with several methods but I never seem to stick with it for long.
    How often are you planning to track spending and how are you recording it?

    Spending on debit and credit cards is easy for me to check online- I might try and update these on a specific day weekly...maybe on a spreadsheet. Cash spending I guess is easiest to record immediately with a phone app or notebook and then update weekly.
    Any app/ software/ planner recomendations?

    *Jellie* It will be easy for me to track my direct debits from my online banking. When I go shopping I keep my receipts and check what I have spent from there . Other spending I will record on my I iphone which a notes section - this will be for items like small purchases eg money for a collection at work or small items from a shop eg cake or a newspaper.

    I really wouldn't like to know what I have spent in 2016!! I've just been closing my eyes when the credit card bill comes through ha ha!! - In budget though and always paid off in full, I'd just really like to save much more by cutting out all of the rubbish I buy - I could start my own shop with all of the meaningless, unnecessary and comfort purchased I make!
