  • Good afternoon diary.

    Apologies now for any rambling.

I'm not really going to set myself any targets or goals, why? I hear you ask, simple because I always fail and then feel $h!t about myself, I am going to achieve things and when I do I will post my little achievements and maybe raise a glass or 2 of vino, but I will not have a sig full of things that make me feel carp everytime I log on, neither will I have a list of my debts staring me in the face making me feel a failure.

I'm going to talk about things that make me feel good, the little things I achieve everyday and some days that may be the fact I've got through the day.

Today is my last day off before I head back to work tomorrow, so I've been busy this morning catching up with the washing and yes I've used the tumble dryer,I used to feel guilty about this but not anymore, yes it costs money to run but I want a tidy dry house without damp wet washing everywhere, I have put some items on the airer but when you have done 3 loads with at least 4 more to go the airer just doesn't cut it.

I have cooked a chicken this morning and chocolate brownies, so used the oven to its max (brownie points there excuse pun).
Ironing has been done, animals fed and watered and log baskets filled.

I have a couple of bills to pay and and ebay item to wrap, then I need to go and pick children up from school and take to the opticians, whilst in town I need to stock up on honey and chillis for Chinese fakeaway, also will get a couple of loaves of bread for the freezer.

Survey - I'm still going strong with these but have cut back on a couple of sites that I feel have gone off the boil.

Ebay - seriously fallen out of love with it and I have been screwed over by a few buyers recently, everything seems to be in there favour and the fees have just got stupid.

Children - Costing a fortune now they are hitting those teenage years, just things like clothes and shoes, the cost of school shoes once they get into adult sizes are just scary, then there is uniform, trips etc etc etc.

Hubby - still amazing, hard working, untidy and lovely.

So all in all i'm still winging my way through life.x.
