Pointing 3 bed semi

So we bought our house last year. The pointing is quite shabby in places, more so the upper parts of the house. Before I start getting quotes a couple of questions really.
I’m aware pointing is quite expensive, can it just be partially done where the worst parts are eg upper walls? The lower walls front and back seem ok. Or is it just easier to do the whole thing?
Anyone had a 3bed semi in Greater Manchester pointed in the last few years and how much did they pay or expect to pay?

Thanks all for any help!

    Looking to do the same.

Anyone have any ideas on price, length of time to do the job etc?

    TIA.

So many variables most price per meter raking out, height , access, ability to replicate the colour, texture of existing mortar. minimum £25- 60 per square meter but don't be surprised if its more. Conservation pointing will be considerably more and for time weeks for whole house isn't unusual start to finish.
