    Wetherspoons arecthe same.
There are 2 in Durham not far from each other and the tea is 20p more in one than the other
make the most of it, we are only here for the weekend.
and we will never, ever return.
  • I feel like McDonalds is overpriced these days all together, £6 to be hungry again in 20 minutes isn't the best value in my eyes. Or maybe I'm just greedy lol :).

I would have thought council rates would effect prices to some degree (rates in a city centre being higher than out of town etc....)

I am surprised how many parents take their kids to Mcdonalds before or after school. No wonder obesity is on the rise.

I would say that this is a complete non-issue. I doubt anyone who goes into a McDonald's ever checks how much their meal will be - they go in, know what they want, order, collect/eat/leave.

I never eat "Fast Food", only good food.
I think this job really needs
    a much bigger hammer.

My parents take my nieces occasionally.

Chicken nuggets, carrot sticks, bottled water / organic milk & toy.
    Hardly 'Supersize Me'.

This goes against the whole idea of Ray Kroc's vision - that you should be able to go into any McDonald's and order exactly the same item off exactly the same menu at exactly the same price.

Good old Ray Kroc. There is a book called grinding it out. Its absolutely fascinating when as a milkshake mixer salesman he visits the McDonalds that two brothers own and has a lighbulb moment that this model of consistency and cleanliness could be stamped out into every town. There rest is history. And for the story behind the fillet of fish... get the book.

The movie depicting the birth of Mcdonalds with Ray Kroc is very good.It is called 'The Founder'.
As of prices,a lot of franchises will have all different prices based on an area usually.
