Individual Insolvency Register 14th Nov 17 at 7:31 PM
I just found my record on the individual insolvency register (NOT the London Gazette but the register on which you appear only while you are bankrupt) and I was shocked to see that my new=current address appears on there, even though I have only just informed the OR that I had moved.

Is this right? I never gave the insolvency people permission to make my current address public! Now any nosey parker can look me up and see where I live, even if I have only just met them and they have no reason to know about my 'previous life'. One of the reasons I moved was to have a clean break..... Not only this but debtors can now find me (I know they are not allowed to chase me for money but it is still unnerving).

For the period of bankruptcy it is a requirement that your last known / current address is listed unless you have successfully applied to have your name and address withheld.
