I WILL get there!!

I've just been having a little doodle and I can't believe I didn't notice that I am just £40 away from the £14 thousands....it's taking all my willpower not to transfer some out of my holiday savings fund just to hit that little milestone but I've managed to hold back so far....not sure how long I'll be able to do that for though :rotfl:
We are going holiday shopping in Birmingham tomorrow so I am going to try and keep my spends to an absolute minimum so that I might be able to chip away at that £40 with what is left....and I've got a sold ebay item which will go a long way (£31) if the buyer would actually bother paying!!
Sooooo frustrating to be so close to the elusive 50%, and even closer to under that nearest thousand barrier....patience is something I really need to learn :rotfl::j PAID VERY, Barclaycard x3, Vanquis, Natwest, O/D, Tesco & MBNA x2 PAID :j LBM 24/07/15 - Original Debt: £0/31010.23 (100% paid)

I so feel that frustration. I'm pretty much tapped out for the month now unless I sell something. A kidney
You are doing so well on the debt slaying. One thing I try and do when I'm getting all crazy about my progress is to try and think perspective. Just change the view a little. Go for a walk. Look at nature for a bit. It works for me" Your vibe attracts your tribe":D

Bob, I have thought about the organ selling myself
ccl, it didn't take me long to work out where I could shuffle it from when I put my mind to it...
Well my patience is as good as ever :rotfl: I took the plunge and made a payment of £45 which takes me firmly into the 14 thousands...it will leave me a little skint but I get paid on Thursday and I hadn't used as much fuel as I thought so haven't needed to top up this week, which meant I was £30 better off than I budgeted for. I also won't need to use the car apart from one day next week so all fuel will be covered by OH. I haven't even had to touch the ebay money or the little that is left in my PADing budget :T:j PAID VERY, Barclaycard x3, Vanquis, Natwest, O/D, Tesco & MBNA x2 PAID :j LBM 24/07/15 - Original Debt: £0/31010.23 (100% paid)

I'm officially at 49.01% paid....sooooo close!!
Two cashbacks for insurance policies have become payable on tcb, so I need to transfer that out and get another OP made to the loan
Finding the online payment details was the best thing I ever did for that loan - even paying 56 days interest on what I pay off is infinitely better than just leaving it as is and paying 21.9% APR  what was I thinking when I took that loan out?!:j PAID VERY, Barclaycard x3, Vanquis, Natwest, O/D, Tesco & MBNA x2 PAID :j LBM 24/07/15 - Original Debt: £0/31010.23 (100% paid)

Now that your credit rating is improving can you get a better loan? Or a money transfer credit card for that money? Nationwide don't penalise for overpaying loans. Lots of them don't.
Sorry everything is going so crap. Keep focusing on everything else and hopefully it'll start clicking back into place xLoan 1 £5200/£8000
Loan 2 £300/£5800
Total £5500/£138000 -
Hi Kitten, I tried with halifax but they didn't offer me any better rates so there was no point. It's the only one I'm paying interest on so I'm going gung ho with getting it paid off - every spare penny will be going to the loan - PADs away!
Had a letter from the hospital about my results from the overnight tube test I had done, and it looks like I will be getting the operation finally. I find out the specifics on 27th May but it looks like a 3-6 week recovery time. That is really stressing me out as I don't get anything other than statutory sick pay
Plan for this week - work out what sick pay I will get and work out how short that will leave me, and get a plan together!:j PAID VERY, Barclaycard x3, Vanquis, Natwest, O/D, Tesco & MBNA x2 PAID :j LBM 24/07/15 - Original Debt: £0/31010.23 (100% paid)
