Quotemehappy.com - Quoted me miserable

Hi,
I recently changed my car insurance to Quotemehappy.com
When I filled out their forms it didn't ask me for a start date, a few other funny things happened on the forms such as bits being corrupted and drop down boxes jumping around the screen. I kept going through the process expecting it to ask me when I wanted it to start.
Unfortunately it didn't and started it straight away. I e-mailed the insurer immediatey (they don't have a phone number) and after a couple of days they contacted me and told me to basically get stuffed.
I've now lost 20 days of insurance as my current policy doesn't run out till december.
I've run another quote through their system now and it is now working fine and clearly asks for a start date. I don't believe that I missed this option when I went through the quote.
In my experience the price might be cheap but the customer service leaves a lot to be desired.

I have a lot of problems with my neighbours, they hammer and bang on the walls sometimes until 2 or 3 in the morning - some nights I can hardly hear myself drilling

As you see, they are really aviva under a new name (as aviva is really norwich union under a new name!)
Check out on here and on the web to learn all about aviva/norwich union "service"!0 -
Hi Quentin,
Thank you for your post. You're correct, Quotemehappy.com is a small part of Aviva specialising in selling car insurance online, mainly through price comparison sites. As an online insurer, servicing is online too and all customers have a dedicated online account giving them control of their policy. If you’d like to know more visit http://www.quotemehappy.com/about-us .
Kind regards

Is there a "Where did you hear about us?" question? If so, I presume there is a "Dave spammed MSE" option in the answers? All matter is merely energy condensed to a slow vibration, we are all one consciousness experiencing itself subjectively, there is no such thing as death, life is only a dream, and we are the imagination of ourselves.0

Hi folks
I'm sorry if you feel my last post was touting for business that certainly wasn't my intention. I was trying to highlight the differences between the services offered by QuoteMeHappy.com and those offered by Aviva.

Seems just a cynical stance to appear all things to all customers. "Aviva" makes much of not stooping to being on comparison sites, then has another "name" whereby they sell "mainly" through comparison sites!
Then uses the "aviva" rep to extol the virtues of the comparison site brand!0 -
Why did you buy it if you were having problems? If you dont like me remember its mind over matter, I dont mind and you dont matter0

Thats really funny !!
Aren't Aviva and quotemehappy.com one and the same i.e Aviva
oops, sorry I forgot you despise comparison sites as you make big play of this as Aviva but, oops perhaps they're not so bad after all so lets call ourselves quotemehappyslappy.com and appear on them.:rotfl:0 -
quotemehappy is as above norwich union, in disguise.
very expensive, and rubbish service.
Aviva isnt on price comparsion sites as their prices are too expensive, and no one would buy from them.Promo codes are never always cheaper..... isnt that right EuropCar?0
