Hi johnk, thanks for your questions.

I think that you are referring to the fact that it isn't possible to split a single merchant's payment up into smaller amounts, but it is possible to use the 'advanced payment options' tab (located above the 'pay me' button on the payments screen) to split your payments by merchant.

For example, if you had £20 for one merchant, £15 for another and one for £60, the total of £95 could not be requested as Clubcard Points. If you split the payment using the above function, you could request £35 as Clubcard points (the first two merchants) and the remainder using BACS or another payment option. You will then have another £15 of Clubcard points to request for future earnings.

Apologies if you are already aware of this process but it may be an option some members do not know about.

The 5% bonus for using the Clubcard option does not count towards your £50 threshold. Therefore, if you were to request a payment of £50, you would get £52.50 worth of points.

We are aware that there may have been an issue with points being removed, but this would have been a technical glitch and should not happen again.

Please get back to me if you have any further questions.

    Many thanks,
    John

I have got a question for you mate.

I have currently got £225 sitting in my topcashback account
    Merchant 1 = £75
    Merchant 2 = £75
    Merchant3 = £75

So how do I request 1 of these to be paid as clubcard points?
Can I split payment from merchant 1 i.e request £50 as clubcard points and the rest £25 as paypal.

    Thanks

Why do some merchants for the snap & save always decline, even with a picture perfect receipt showing the item, store, date & time?

Seems like they want you to buy their products thinking you will get cashback and then decline them.
  • TopCashBack Company Representative
    Hi there,

@atlantis187, unfortunately you would not be able to use the Clubcard option here. You can split the payments, but the smallest amount you could split these down into would be £75. Do to the £50 maximum limit, this would prevent the Clubcard option from working.

@Kite2010, if you meet all of the terms and conditions, they shouldn't be declined. Could you email mse@topcashback.co.uk? I can then have a look through your receipt submissions and see what has happened here.

    Many thanks,
    John

    Hi John

I took out a policy with Standard Life through TCB in August 2012 - the cashback of £85 is still not payable. I have never had to wait this long for a payout, whether it be with yourselves or another cashback site.

The tracking was all over the place: it was sitting as "confirmed" for ages with a payment date of Feb 2013, then suddenly after a few months it went back to "pending" with a blank estimated payment date. It is currently "confirmed" (only having switched to this in the past fortnight) with a payment date of 34 weeks. I have sent messages to customer services but keep being told to wait.

Perhaps you would look into this - you can let me know what details you need

    Hey John!

I purchased an iPhone 4 direct from Apple via TCB in December.

This never showed on my TCB account so I submitted a claim.

No Action is needed on your behalf, we'll let you know when there is an update.
Now we have submitted your claim we have to wait for a response from the merchant, this may take 2 – 3 months, but we will write back when we have any updates'

To date I still haven't heard anything and Apple still isn't showing on my account on TCB.

Can you maybe shed some light on this please!?

    Thanks

I requested some of my cashback as Tesco clubcard points, and got an email today telling me that they had been transferred, but as yet, they haven't appeared in my account, how long does it usually take?

Just noticed that my E.ON transaction from September 2012 now has confirmed status

Thanks for your efforts regarding this @ TCB

Was wondering if you have information as to when this will go payable please
  • TopCashBack Company Representative
    Hi everyone,

@bristolleedsfan, I'm glad that this is confirmed now! We are still chasing this, but can you let me know in a few more weeks if it still isn't payable?

@Georgiegirl256, They should show in your account within 24 hours. Can you email mse@topcashback.co.uk with your TCB username and your Clubcard number? I will have a look through our records for you.

@HeadAboveWater, can you email in too? I will then be able to access your account and ask the claims team to update you.

    @CAPTAINBLONDECHICK, I have just replied.

    Best wishes,
    John

    Hi Topcashback

Can you tell me why H. Samuel is taking so long to become payable?

I was going to submit a ticket but it said you were aware of the problem.
  • TopCashBack Company Representative
    Hi POPPYOSCAR,

I hope you are Ok. We should have these payable by the end of this month, but can you post back here if your's still hasn't progressed then?

    Hi TopCashBack Company Representative,

I ordered Sky Fibre Broadband upgrade (existing customers deal) for £80.80 back on 1st November 2012. My TCB transaction is still at 'Pending', I understand the average time to receive cashback is 10 weeks which passed by in mid January. Is there anything that can be done to speed this process up? Many thanks.

    hello.

original message below posted 26/2/2013..well over "another 4 weeks" now.

status remains the same and Santander stats still show last payment received by TCB as December 2012.

    any help appreciated.

can i ask whats happening with santander payments?

took out a new Bank account and credit card early december and both have been confirmed for ages. payment speed mentions 7 weeks.

    thanks.

Hi TCB rep, I really hope you can help.
I have had a payment 'pending' since November 2012 from the AA.
I have posted on FB and also raised tickets but with no change or help at all.
I think it's really bad because there are lots of similar complaints from TCB customers and yet you still allow the AA to tout for business under false pretenses. I think it puts TCB in a very poor light as it seems you are not working in the interest of your customers.
There are similar reviews for the AA on Quidco so obviously a clever marketing tool for the AA. Disgraceful.

    Hi there,

@pfpf, thanks for getting back in touch. I am sorry that this is still not payable. I have checked with the affiliate network on this and we do expect the payment soon. Can you allow a little longer, perhaps until the end of the month and let me know if your transaction hasn't progressed by then?

@adendem, can you email mse@topcashback.co.uk about this? I can then access your account and look into this further for you. Although we are missing a number of AA transactions, many have been paid without issue. Please also note that those who pay by monthly direct debit are subject to a 6 month validation period before cashback can start to be processed.

@R34GTT, I have spoken to the merchant's affiliate network about this issue and we are in the process of resolving it. I'm not sure exactly how long this will take, but please be assured that we are working on getting these to payable status.

    Best wishes,
    John
