Combi Boiler for a 2 bed flat (5 radiators) quote

the quote is for a 30 kw Glow Worm Condensing HE Combi Boiler and to change the installation from a common shared boiler to an individual one (without individual gas meter, we have been told is British Gas who fits these, how much are they likely to cost), using the EXISTING gas supply.

the quote excludes the repair of any damage to walls/ceiling during the installation, and this is definitely going to have some impact as they have to find a new route for the flues, most likely to be through the ceiling as we live in a top flat

£2,052+VAT it is

what do you guys think?

many thanks

The minimum charge for fitting a new gas meter will be around £500-£600 these days.

It will be National grid, or one of their subcontractors that would do this, not British Gas.

The existing gas supply will need to be checked for size first off.

Quote doesn't sound too bad though.
