Oh I'd just like to add that tomorrow is a very important day for me!
I shall be clearing & closing my Vanquis account & saying goodbye to their crazy interest rates. I have been waiting for this for a loooong time!
I'll also be working out my end of week % figure to see how many % I've knocked off so far!0 -

Brilliant news, LittleMiss. Really well done :T
I've started making my list on how to get the £2503 I need by the end of the month in order to add my share to "the pot".
With regard to the crafting I do, I dable in most things including cardmaking, scrapbooking, sewing and other bits and pieces. I tried hewellery making once but found it too fiddly for my fat little fingers - does stop me buying beautiful beads though!!!!!

craftingmad - Ah yes, beautiful beads! I bought my sister a kit as a present and she's made some lovely stuff. Think it might join us on the car boot. I love making handmade presents & hampers. I'm not too good at cardmaking but I would like to be. I hope your list is coming on well!
Hey Hummingbird, Congrats on getting back into it! You're doing great on your £15 a day in June challenge! What stuff did you do???
Fae - I'm SO looking forward to it! I've got a feeling it's going to be a good first week total. Just looking across my spreadsheets and I've done more than I've thought!0 -
Great news on the Vanquis! This thread has nearly inspired me to update my signature (totals have gone backwards) but I think I'll do a payday update as that is only next week and will hopefully make me feel a bit more positive about it, as opposed to despondent!

An update for today :-
I've found out the dates for the local big car boot. I've got 2 weeks to gather stuff together. Must remember to ask family as they're usually greatful for the space and they usually say I can keep the cash as long as I don't bring any stuff back - mwhaha
Going out for a treat for tea tonight. Only cheap & cheerful but it's a welcome luxury. It's my Dads choice for fathers day. Other options could have been much more expensive so I'm glad of it.
Done some work on the final CV. hoping to get it finished this weekend so that payment can count towards next week.
Will count up the spare change around the house this eve and put it in one place.
Have a good evening all!0 -
