    Great progress, well done :T
A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effort
    :) Mortgage Balance = £0 :)

'Switched' gas and electricity to the same provider.

When I moved into my house a year and a half ago it took me a while to get organised and my bills were £130 a month. Then I switched and got it down to £100. The deal ran out so I looked around again and found a deal with the same provider on u switch. I called them and they said I could click through and enter my account details at the end and that I would get the new deal. Gas and electricity now £80 a month!!!!

Very happy with the adviser that gave me that tip!!!

Way to go. Great work :)
Made it to mortgage free but what a muddle that became

In the event the proverbial hits the fan then co-habitees are better stashing their cash than being mortgage free !!

Work grim at the moment! I have the fear today for sure. Just gotta hang on in there for redundancy! I think I'm at the stage now if I'm not made redundant I'll be gutted!!!!

Just wish I knew what was happening so I was out of limbo land. It could greatly effect my mortgage payments depending what I decide to do.

Option 1- contract and pay of mortgage super fast! (I'd book holidays so I had quality time with the kids. Plenty people work full time with kids. I just don't want to!!!)
Option 2- stay home with kids and not work(think I'd go mad)
Option 3- take a much lower paid part time job that fits with school hours (these are like hens teeth anyway, and would I be mad when I could contract!)

OMG this has been going round in my head for months now and I'm no further forward! Only way to decide is when it happens I think!
