I sold an unused small vial of perfume (1.5ml) a few weeks ago, received this message tonight.
'There was more then half empty! I did just 5 sprays and its empty!!!!! Why ???? I will leave you bad feedback if you dont gona send me another!!'
I only had one available, This item sold for under £2, i'm not sure what they expected from a small vial of perfume but I know it had never been used. How would you respond?

Looking at their bidder history they've bought a lot of other perfume samples recently, although its a very low value item would it be worht contacting other sellers to see if the same happened to them?0

send them a large spray of deodorant , and point out that on a normal person the perfume does not have to be applied so heavily , suggest they try the deodorant for a week and then see if a small application of perfume covers the smell
also point out that you have the same perfume in bulk 5l cans marked "for smelly !!!!!es"
might loose you some brownie points with ebay , but what the hell ,,0 -
Yes, that is feedback extortion. I would report them to ebay. How big do they think 1.5 ml is the fools.

I reported them, but they have just messaged me this morning saying I'm a liar and given me a very rude negative, will eBay remove this?0

Respond carefully with the facts, not much else you can do.I'd rather be an Optimist and be proved wrong than a Pessimist and be proved right.0

Submit all the evidence to eBay, and they should be able to remove the negative feedback for you.
Also sometimes eBay will refund the customer from their own pocket so you don't lose out.0 -
I had trouble with a perfume buyer saying items weren't genuine when they were etc I wonder if it's the same guy.Warning: any unnecessary disclaimers appearing under my posts do not bear any connection with reality, either intended, accidental or otherwise. Your statutory rights are not affected.0

OP try this link, http://contact.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ContactUs&wftype=2017&rcode=FB%25P10049&subject=Feedback%20Abuse&bcrumb=%20Home%20%3E%20Help%20%3E%C2%A0Membership%20%26%20account%C2%A0%3E%C2%A0Rules%20%26%20policies%C2%A0%3E%C2%A0Feedback%20abuse&instruction=&exp it doesn't always work and you may have to do it more than once. Feedback removal policy is now defunct and replaced by defect removal.0

Thanks for the link! Couldn't get it to work though I spoke to live chat and they said the feedback can't be removed as it isn't classed as feedback extortion, I have no idea why the buyer had to be so rude I could have resolved it amicably. They clearly are pulling this trick often as checking again they've bought the exact same perfume sample I sold from other buyer several times too, I guess I'll just have to accept the feedback0
