Well if they say it often enough it will eventually will be correct when it does happen. May be this year, next year or in five years.0

I can't believe RBS savings have gone to 0.01%. Not sure why anyone would want to save at that rate.
Sad times for savers.

It is paradigm shifting.
In the good old days, if you can't make a living as a farmer, you turn bandit.
So, instead of saving and get nowhere, become a pension liberation scam salesman, and rob people who do save.
I believe the equivalent in nature is frogs changing sex.
So, we turn from a nation of savers into a nation of high pressure financial products salesmen. The triggering mechanism being low interest rates.

The thread is created manually, it's not an automatic process.
What I'd like them to do is link their article to the original thread(s):

That way all the information/gossip is in one place and makes the forum less cluttered.

If they drop their rate it is perhaps time to move. If there is anything better left!0

That makes Premium Bonds even more attractive, as there is virtually nothing to lose, but you may well gain by 'winning'. We rarely have a month when neither of us gets a 'win'; often finding that we both 'win' or one has multiple 'wins'.0 -

I'd agree that PBs are better than a 0.01% saving account though, but would contend that in turn there are many other accounts that beat PBs....0 -
Of course they are, and Tesco, and LLoyds, and BOS, et.al
Not if, but when.
You don't need to read it anywhere now Santander has taken the plunge, like lemmings, the others WILL follow suit.
They are a Cartel.
Carney gave them the excuse, and they are using it.
The good times are over, if one can call them that.
We with multiple A/cs haven't exactly made a fortune.;)but what was there was available to all.
November will be the Month of several Bonfires.0 -

There also a good chance of winning absolutely nothing with premium bonds.0
