Did a quick search for the subject line, but obviously got too many hits about phone plans.
On desktop there is this button which allows you to subscribe to a thread without actually posting to it:
But on mobile i can't see the equivalent - the only way I can see to subscribe is to post something:
Is it missing or am I simply going blind?

Still waiting. Still cant see a way of doing it on mobile..Conjugating the verb 'to be":

Should I just accept that this apparently simple request is being ignored?
My phone now seems to be stuck permanently in desktop mode in an unwise attempt to workaround this.
Where's "show mobile view" on desktop view?Conjugating the verb 'to be":

6 months on from the last reply, 9 from OP, and it's still not obvious how to subscribe to a thread without spamming a post to it on mobile.
Nor how to get out of desktop view on mobile.Conjugating the verb 'to be":

Ok. 9 months is clearly an insufficient amount of time to implement basic functionally that, on what otherwise appears to be reactive forum software ,should have in place to begin with.
Since swapping to desktop can only be undone by getting a new/resetting the phone I'll simply try another workaround while someone works on getting it working.
And to think people on here complain about their banks, power supply companies and traders taking ages about resolving complaints.
Thank god you're not like them.
Anyway, thanks again for replying.Conjugating the verb 'to be":

Hi Paul, I found your thread after also puzzling how to subscribe to threads whilst using my mobile to browse the forums.
How frustrating that there is no option to, and that MSE have been aware of the issue -yet not resolved it- for sooo long!
Very disappointing.0
