Thanks also to slowlyfading for running this thread - I would not have remotely achieved anything like the above amount without it so I owe you greatly. BTW, don't know if anyone has said this before but re your MSE name and your own financial savings feats, you seem to me more "rapidlystrengthening" than "slowlyfading" - just saying ha ha it's maybe not quite as catchy thoughBe who you are and say what you feel because those who mind don't matter and those who matter don't mind.

Wow, well done all!
For the final month of the year I managed to save £1,607.88 - extremely happy with this amount, and takes my total to just over 102% of my total (and over 150% of my original total).
Good luck to everyone in 2016!0 -

Amazing! Well done all! Let's beat that in 2016!
Save 12K in 2020 # 38 £0/£20,0000 -
Declaring £3454.91 for December, so a final total for 2015 is £29,202.10 against a target of £24,000 - looking back it seems I started off with a target of £18k and then upped it, so very pleased with that.
A bit late and I don't expect SF to update, but as part of my review of my finances for 2016 I've ditched a planned spend for this year and moved a regular saver to long-term savings - under 'my rules' (I only count money that I don't have plans to spend) this ups my challenge total by £2k. So my final result for 2015 is £31,202.10

I've just submitted my final update form for 2015. I'm a little short off my target of £12k but really happy with the final amount of £10,100 savings
Thanks Slowly Fading for running this challenge. It gave me that much needed accountability.Save 12k in 2015 Challenger #63 £10,100/£12,000 (84%)0
