canuksfan - glad you could find us :)

kerfuffle - may I kiss you? I was going to find the individual posts but you're one step ahead of me xx You're almost at 20% yay :D

SuperHeavy - I hate rain :( where did the sunshine go? welcome back aboard :)

Dolly rocker - glad to hear from you again :) you're doing well on both the debt and weight loss front xx

psychopathbubble - shhh the snow might hear you and come to visit! Congratulations on the interview, fingers crossed. Some work is better than no work, are you ears feeling better now? Over 50% now whoop whoop, I'll race you to the finish line ;)

Ruthy - well done on going for the run and congrats on no longer having to pay for SW :) have a lovely time at AT, hope the weather is ok for it xx

Loubie_lou - hope your tax relief comes soon too, mine took about 8 weeks when I did it

    rolo-polo - welcome back :) xx

antonia - congrats on the cheque from the scrap company, how are you doing now? hope your ok after your disaster of a week the other day xx

jakes-mum - I'd rather have snow than hail too :) hate hail but looooove snow :D My dad found imusic was the biggest sinner. I like that you have friends in your computer ;) ooh and if you're on his computer does that mean none of "the game" we've heard nothing about for ages?

camuk81 - I used to use my blood donor card for scraping snow *sniggers* then I got given a scraper from an old housemate :) very MSE but it does make your hands cold brrrr. Congratulations on wiping almost 2 years from your debt date that's amazing, just shows what having some support to jeer you on can do :) Must be why those weight loss places make so much money, maybe we should start a "debtors world" company and weigh our purses, £1 less each week gets us a gold star :p

ruby - it's freezing so they want icecream? Britain's gone barmy obviously! :p

fallenwiccan - you've reminded me I need to start looking round for another ISA for after the weekend, although I'm not paying into it at the moment.

Well I'm watching Mr Sugar on the television, I got home at 5pm, watched come done with me, then 4 in a bod, then put myself to bed as I can't keep warm. Woke up 15mins before Mr Sugars programme, but I think I'm coming down with something eep! I feel rundown, bleurgh and meh all at once. I really don't like half the candidates on it this year, what happened to their being one cute one each year???

OMG, just sent my cv into a private airline company that my friend works for, with a carppy cover letter just on the offchance and within 10 minutes i got an email back asking if i can come in tomorrow for an interview! it's shift work again, and i don't know the pay but i can find out tomorrow i guess.
    That's great news! :j
  • Thanks all :) Kerri, I would actually like this job I think as it's still aviation related. Dont' like the shifts but it would be 4 days on 4 days off so not all bad. Don't want to get my hopes up though, and I wasn't even expecting an interview though so fingers crossed. My mate had text me within 10 minutes of sending it to say they wanted to call me in! They did think I was a bloke though, luckily she put them straight or they would have been shocked tomorrow!

Haha, I'll race you... hoping to shift the best part of 1k at the end of April when I get my share money :D I'm pretty sure you will win though, unless I do get a job very soon. Hope you feel better soon.

Men are born selfish. Hate to say it but it's true!

Ah THE Game! Ive kind of given up over it :o It does keep him quiet you see . . and I do so like it when hes quiet :rotfl:. He stuck £25 on a couple of days ago but had sold his ipod and PDA so I had to bite my tongue even though inside I was . I figure if hes selling his carp to pay for the infernal thing there is nowt I can do or say and have to just let him get on with it :o . . well until he runs out of carp and starts reaching for the bank card again . . . but my rolling pins ready ;)

Umm mostly I would answer yes to this, but I think we all knew that anyway :rotfl:. Im not sure how much is selfishness and how much is a complete inability to see beyond their own needs and wants

Haha I had this twice... the private doctor scooped out a big lump of wax and the ent specialist had to 'hoover' my ear out as it had lots of debris! very embarassing. I think it's just dead skin cells and stuff, plus the infection could produce gunk as the body tries to attack it? I could be talking utter rubbish and we are just dirty mares with dirty ears :D

Well just wanted to say thank you Jemma and everyone on here. Redid my maths today and thanks to the motivation you guys have given my original debt free date of doing nothing has moved from Sep 2015 to November 2013.

So even if I had a melt down tomorrow I've taken a big chunk off my debts. Cheers guys for all the help and inspiration

That's amazing! :j How did you do it?

Jakes-mum, I syringe my own ears when they need it. It's just a squeezy bulb thing filled with luke-warm water gently squeezed into the ear. You can also do it by directing the shower head into your ear, but make sure it's not too powerful.

Do you have hayfever? I've noticed my ears have started producing more wax since the hayfever season has started eugh!
