Masthaven Bank Mortgages

Hi,

We applied for bad credit mortgage with masthaven 80% LTV. DIP approved. Waiting for the full application to be processed by the underwriters. All the docs have been provided to them by our broker i.e payslips etc.

Anyone used them before for the mortgage? any experience? how long would they take. Whats the chances are getting Mortgage offer? Me and my mrs has a small default over 5 years old and mrs has one ccj which is 5 years and 7 months old. we are not the first time buyer. Moving home selling current property.

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

    Full application was submitted a week ago. We have never ever missed a single payment on anything in the past 6 years (only the small default and a ccj which is almost 6 years old).

    It seems overkill to use Masthaven, I am sure you will be fine.

    I have used them once, the underwriters came back the same day. It was all offered within 3-4 days, subject to valuation - it only took so long as we had to get extra paperwork for something.

    I was quite impressed with them.

    Hi, Yes they came back with couple of questions, I replied. Now waiting for them to get back to my broker. Their turn around time is pretty impressive though.

    I totally agree that their turn around is very good.

    We had a second wave of questions regarding some items on our bank statements which were quickly replied too and sent back late Friday.
    Hoping to hear about the valuation this week if everything is ok.
