I had some ambrosia left over last week. I froze it, and this week used it. It was fine!

Put it in the freezer, then give it a good stir every hour or so - ice cream
Right I'm giving this a try. I have thrown a handful of sorry looking blueberries in to also.

I'll force it down the kids tomorrow & see what they think :rotfl:

  • Custard is so nice, adding anything to it ruins it. I'd eat it with a spoon :)

    Yummy Custard for breakfast:T:T:T
I must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer.
Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration.
I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over and through me. When it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path.
When the fear has gone there will be nothing. Only I will remain.

I made this a coue of weeks ago and it was fab. It took a LOT longer the recipe indicated to bake though, and i used more rhubarb. It was utterly delicious.

EAT IT:rotfl:no seriously get digestive biccys, melted butter and mash together and put in a tin/flat tray thing, put stewed apples ontop then custard and then crumble a flake over it put it in fridge to go cold and eat the lot yourself no need to share or even tell anyone you made it ...thats what i would do, but then ive pmt at moment and anything sweet is just soooooooooo right at the moment.:p

I was going to suggest 'grab a spoon and tuck in', lol, but this sounds delicious and I'll be trying it at some point, one way to use some of the apples off our tree this year!
