  • Hello :) I've fallen off the decluttering wagon somewhat and having to gently stop relatives adding to the clutter pile and very politely confirm that objects in our house will be being decluttered and yes they can have it on the understanding that it is now THEIR item and NOT mine and it must leave the house by x date. A desk and a pile of moving boxes being the main items of contention at the moment!

I hope to continue decluttering in ernist again tomorrow :)

I haven't counted, but continuing to declutter my clothes and have two charity bags full at the moment. Listed a few more unwanted gifts on eBay and Facebook. I've signed up to a facebook group called declutter - uk which is giving me daily inspiration as people are showing before and after pictures.
I decluttered my bedside table which only took me 5 minutes and it looks so good.

Discarded a big bag of scraps that I'd hung onto for years with every intention of doing something useful with but ... am I the only one who never gets round to it?

  • Had a productive weekend after a not very productive week, I took two bags of clothing to CS yesterday 31 items in total. Target this week is the two ‘junk dawers’ You know the ones where you put everything that you don’t know what else to do with ?!?

Sounds like everyone has had a busy and productive weekend.

I have decluttered one of the drawers in our bathroom- lots of bits half empty that I have chucked out. Also found a few full products I wont use so will pop on eBay.

Have slashed prices on eBay tonight as well just to get things gone quicker.

  • I've chucked out quite a bit today including a loving made blanket that is beyond saving. Made me sad but also realise how committed I am :) In addition 8 pairs of shoes, baby clothes and books in the cs bag :)

  • Phew I am knackered! Spent all day clearing out the mezzanine. Packed up all the ex husband's leftover stuff that was hidden away in there so that can now go.
Also found another 17 items to go to the charity shop and 31 books.
The room is now a calm tidy space with all the Christmas stuff in it's place, photos sorted out but yes I'm still keeping my old teddy bears from my childhood (I did get rid of quite a few last year but there are some I can't bear (no pun intended) to get rid of) .
