£193.89 spent from food budget is far (£1000 oct1st -dec31st budget) Not bad, but other spending so far this month has been high after buying ds2 a winter coat from m and s (needed it now not when my vouchers arrive!) I also bought a sparkly top from next for me (£18) and have got petrol and a couple of other bits, total spend so far about £480  I think budget left for the month is now £208 and of that £139 should be for food.

Predicted balance at the end of the year for the mortgage is £51,605, predicated balance for Dec 2017 is £21,827, I've been looking at the overpayment spreadsheet as I have a massive urge to spend money at the moment and need to put myself off :D

Can't even imagine having a mortgage under six figures. :o All rather impressive, NG. :)
    2018 totals:
    Savings £11,200
    Mortgage Overpayments £5,500

Yuk, hangover (again!) I was totally bored yesterday home alone, then mum popped round to drop something off about 5pm and said come over for a drink , I ended up staying all evening and having a takeaway curry and a shed load of wine. dhs declined to join us as he was watching a film with Ds2 at home, but did collect me later what a star :D

:xmastree: Christmas vibes at home today, the fruit is in to soak (should have done it yesterday but forgot) I shall be cooking the cake later, there is nothing in the world that smells as good as Xmas cake baking. Also need to gather up all the advent calendar gifts for my aunts calendar, she is having it as part of her birthday present in a couple of weeks. Also have gammon in the small sc, leek and potato soup in the large one and bread in the bm, not bad after a wine overload!

Will be seeing inferno later at the cinema , looking forward to that :)

I enjoyed inferno even though ds 2 said it was rubbish and it had dodgy reviews, 8/10 :)

Good news today Dd has won two more awards from her old college :T she won £250 a couple of years ago and has won the same award again and another £250 plus an extra one for exceptional work doing an extra a level £50, what a little star :D

Ds2 is having a bad day, he is a massive fan of red dwarf and his best friend met one of the actors today at a bike race meet (Danny John jules) he spent the day chatting with the actor and his son, ds2 is now in for a lifetime of ribbing as he wasn't there and is very jealous :rotfl:

Eer oops :o mr t spend today £95  small list written and six bottles of wine bought :o it's not mse but there was 25% off. Lots of essentials and the stuff on the list too of course.

Weigh in day today 2.5 lb off this week :j not sure how after the weekend, but I'm trying to have a lot less most of the time and still the odd treat or two. Determined to lose a minimum of two stones n total this year or hopefully more.

The house is like Piccadilly Circus again tonight, dd and boyfriend here too. The boys have been arguing over which is bigger- the sse arena or just under half of Wembley stadium :rotfl: seriously they are like a comedy sketch! Still acting like they did when they were three sometimes :D I can see why dh stays at work late sometimes - peace and quiet ;)

Great to have a stash of wine and you'll save in the long run. We always get wine in Lidl. We have a friend who works for s drinks company and said that it's really good quality wine there.

    Enjoy!
