has anyone heard of or used Clear Account before?

Ok so i need a bit of money for xmas, i know its high apr etc but it seems a lot better than a payday loan as you dont pay it all back in one go, however youbhave to give your internet banking details which i feel a bit anxious to do. Are they a legit company?

Please don't give anyone your internet banking details. That gives them the same rights to your account as you have! Plus, by handing that out willingly I doubt you'll be covered if anything is ever taken for the duration of your time with that bank.

They're scammers - giving someone your internet banking details will simply enable them to take whatever money you have.

Do not take a loan out for presents - do you really think your friends and family would be happy to get presents that you've put yourself into debt for?
  • as above, what sort of friend or family would want you to go into debt to fund them a present, if you cannot afford it then be open and honest, true friends who are deserving of presents wont want them

Bills are more important than present imo.

If your spending more than what you earn then go over to the debt free board and complete and SOA.

I know its not what you wnated to hear OP but im pretty sure your friends/family would understand about the no presents.

its a wind up, isn't it... Clear Account....... asking for internet bank details..............
I can't believe anyone is so gullible.
  • Sorry but agree with everyone else - Christmas is just not worth getting into debt for ..... please try everything else before resorting to this or you'll end up spending next year having to pay it back and then probably in the same situation this time next year.

Friends & family will understand - have been there & done it.

  • The best christmas you can give your family is a smile on your face and for them to know you are trying to sort your finances out, merry xmas to you and your family
