Well this week is just flying by! I took my finger off the pulse and we are down to 'pence' in our account. OH went to get DS3s present and I forgot to give him the cash I had taken out, so he just used his card.
Just 36 hours til OH gets paid, he gets 3 weeks of money so I'm going to transfer 2 week's worth into the other account so we don't spend it, and then transfer it back on the days he would of been paid.

brizzle, I've still got my mum to buy for too.......now that is a tricky present to get.
Mind you the mood OH is in he won't be getting anything!!! He really doesn't like his job and this threat of redundancy is getting to him. Hope he snaps out of it for the weekend as DS3 comes home.:D
Today was a nsd and I pegged 2 loads out :rotfl:

Long time lurker here... I also get paid early in December and hate it!! I have learnt to move the money out and then pay myself on the right day so January starts on the right foot!!
Hope you and your family have a lovely Christmas.

It's official....I'm stressed.:eek::o
I'm now cooking on Christmas day and Boxing day, (Boxing day wasn't planned but couldn't bear the thought of family members spending the day alone (unless they preferred that which these folk didn't but their immediate family are a 'little' thoughtless shall we say!).
Anyway have purchased all food needed for both days and a few extra gifts for our guests. Have gone a little over budget but hoping to claw that back over the next few weeks.
I have managed in all the chaos to reduce the house insurance by £7 per month.:)
Forgot to do meter readings this morning, will try and do them before I go to work tomorrow.
Not happy with the gifts for some immediate family but its too late now........you can't please everybody all the time!!
Budget and spend diary is way behind, I haven't noted receipts properly since last weekend. I really must get back on track.
