    Thanks for that Mrs C!

Think i'll just stick to Mr T's for fruit and veg this week then. Only thing on there I would buy is apples, not really worth going out my way for TBH.

How about pickled pears, goes with cheese I think, try Delia for recipe? Or any autumn fruit chutney. I would make a pear and almond tart, use in cakes, puree some to use with yogurt, porridge, rice pud, smoothies. HTH

Another £2.20 spent on milk and icecream. I'm doing well staying out of shops and when I do go in only buying what I need. Have had 5 NSDs so far this month and OH is working 3-11pm next week so won't have the car to pop to the shops which is a good thing as I def don't need anything. If I need more milk I'll just go to the corner shop, it's £1 for 2litres so not too bad!
    Total spends this month-£6.19

My poor little DS had the flu vaccine and he now has a nasty cold :( Made him up some honey and lemon water which I hope he will drink but I'm not sure what else I can do other than keep him warm, plenty of water and calpol.

The weather  I shall not be going out today unless the rain lets up - I walk and it's 20 minutes to the shops, just isn't happening.

We have milk, fruit and the fixings for lunch and dinner plus porridge for breakfast, poor DD will have to have porridge made with water as she is dairy free.

I really hope there is a break in the rain tomorrow or we will be eating freezer veg with our Pheasant which won't really do it justice.
