  • Sounds like they are having to replay all the transactions from last night. This is likely why you are seeing amounts pop up gradually over time.

    As such, you may find that if money went into your account and some DD's were taken out last night - you may just see your money going in but not the DD's. As the transaction log continues to be replayed, this will gradually update until it comes back up to date.

    Nice... must have been a nasty crash and I bet there is all hell loose on the operations floor of Natwest/ RBS.

    I understand some people struggle but there are some very cheap ways of feeding yourself if necessary. It's not that I have no sympathy, I have been extremely Skint before - but I always ha a cheap bag of pasta or something in the cupboard.

    I know I'm in the minority in the way I think, but I've always been taught to have something put aside for emergencies, even if it's not money - i have no savings whatsoever! Even putting 50p a week away will build up over time.
  • It is now 3.45 pm and my husbands wages have still not arrived into the account. I think it is disgusting and I will be sending them the bill for tomorrows loss of earnings as not enough petrol to get to work without wages

  • Yep just checked my online banking and my child tax credits have gone in! Woop. Hope everyone else is sorted now :)

    I tried a Woolwich ATM around 2.45 and it was still showing the balance which applied on Tuesday.

    Just been into online banking and it's now updated.

    Looks like it's all sorting itself now, I can see my wages sitting in the queue to be paid in now, although they're not showing as cleared yet. At least it's going in now!
  • Yay! My money's finally in. Hope everyone else's is :-)
  • Yeah - it has only taken most of the day but my account has updated and I have paid the rent and other bills. Still out of pocket business wise as we could not get out to see clients so we will just have to work one day this weekend instead. Hope everyone else is sorted too!!
