They didn't actually weigh me at my booking in, taking my word for what I said I weighed and my height!

They weighed me, but went with the lower number that it was between. Think she took my word about height though.

I'll just tell the midwife I'm six foot, and stay seated :rotfl:

Good thinking! Easier to gain inches than lose weight :D
  • Bloods went OK. I didn't like the nurse and she stabbed me 3 times to get any blood :(

The midwife asked if i knew my height/weight in cm and kg which I don't, I do feet and stones. My BMI is 34  and I think 35 would get the extra scans/tests etc.

4 weeks and 1 day to scan...

Another Bank Holiday! So nice to be relaxing. Currently watching Beauty and Beast with my daughter, who is 3 on Tuesday.

I am feeling ok, bit surprised I already have a bump of sorts, I am quite petite (my BMI is 22 - Midwife toyed at referring for it being below 25 - so its the same both ends!)

Can't believe I am 10 weeks Monday. My scan date has come through and its the 15th of May.

    Have a great weekend everyone

Great to have a scan date samtoby, how exciting!

Do I win the prize for first to bed? Before 8pm! I've just felt so sick all day, OH is putting our toddler to bed, while I read in bed. I have felt so sick all day 🤢 Going to tell my folks the big news tomorrow Erie. Earlier this wed I tended, but I just want some help and sympathy! I can't hold a conversation with anyone at the moment, as all I want to say is I'm pregnant and I feel soooooo sick!

I have quite the bump too samtoby. It feels too soon to get the maternity wear out, but waistbands are uncomfortable and I'm so grumpy!
  • You win for the early bed time! Do you find you wake up earlier too? I can't seem to sleep any later than 7:30 these days :(

I've received a letter from the doctors asking me to make "a routine, non-urgent appointment in the next 4 weeks" following my recent blood test. I'm a bit concerned about what it's about but I guess it can't be too bad with the way they've worded it...

I have a toddler, so I don't get to lie in til 7.30 anyway!

    Just awake feeling yuk.

I guess the fact it says non-urgent routine does mean nothing to worry about. Maybe they just want to eg prescribe iron tablets, that's very common. Let us know how you get on!
