I have both. Netflix has the better on demand offering, Love film has bigger library available via post0

Lovefilm has become really lame since being taken over by Amazon (in my opinion), the menu alone just made me give up.
I cancelled my lovefilm but am considering netflix.
As Can1976 says, they have different varieties based on online viewing, or DVD viewing. The truth is out there... and I want to believe0 -
I love netflix.. There is a lot of popular programmes on there such as Breaking Bad and Walking Dead. The only thing is I find I am too eager to watch new releases! I haven't ever used lovefilm - I got put off by the constant spam I used to get from them.0

I'd go with Netflix. The ability to "browse" the U.S platform will give even more choice too Do a search for viewing US Netflix in UK0

Get netflix then get a VPN (it basically makes it look like your computer is in whatever country you want it to be in) then you can access us netflix and switch between uk and us netflix and have a much wider choice of programs"talk sense to a fool and he calls you foolish" - Euripides0

Lovefilm has TV series like Blue bloods whereas the uk Netflix doesnt. I have both and do need to cancel 1 but as of yet haven't decided which 1.0

Another +1 for Netflix.
You can watch it on a broad range of devices.
The basic subscription also allows 2 users to watch different things simultaneously or you can upgrade to 4 for a few £.0 -
Go for Netflix, better On-Demand as others have said, and you can hook up to the American one and get all the shows a little quicker!
There's also NowTV, by Sky, never used it but looks pretty decent!0
