Happy 1st June everybody.
I received my 10 year part of MSE badge yesterday from Badger.
Doesn't time fly? I have seen so many changes over the years. Sites have come and go, daily clicks have reduced, free lotteries have come and gone.
People have become debt free, mortgage free and left MSE. Others have come back as they like the extra money they can make to help pay for things, some just like the good habit of making extra
It's been quite a journey.
Oh wow, I didn't realise we got anniversary badges! It has been interesting reading this forum over the years. I wish there had been something around like this when I was a teen, although it probably would have taken around 4 hours to load on dial-up!0 -
....... although it probably would have taken around 4 hours to load on dial-up!
With my excruciatingly slow broadband it seems to take that amount of time even now:eek:. I'm exaggerating (a bit;)). Since I switched to PlusNet it's been much more reliable but because of our distance from the exchange it's still as slow as ever. Where's this superfast broadband that the Government has been promising the rural areas for years?0 -

You get a private message from Badger telling you, he has awarded it. Also if you look to the left of your post, you can see yours - congratulations on your 10 year anniversary too.0 -

I think it's just that we don't have anyone to fight for our corner and it seems to be a 'put up and shut up' attitude that we get from all the suppliers.
That's why I stick with the chatty people as at least it eventually works, it could probably be worse and at least the service people are great.
