  • Hi Bob,

Glad DD is feeling much better, sorry that you've got the cold lurgy though, it's horrible.

    Well done on the bargains.

    Evening Peeps

Lying in bed with a sleeping DD. Just waiting for the boys to come up also, then can try and move her to the cot. Had a good useful few hours this afternoon. I hoovered the whole house whilst DH entertained DD, did some other domestic stuff (packing dry clothes away etc) then OH and I moved the spare room furniture around and managed to get DDs cot in there. It's a work in progress as half of the office stuff is still in there, but we need to sort her out in her own room so now is as good a time as any to start.

Huggle That's such a wonderful brilliant idea about entering competitions. I'd never have thought of it ever! I will look into things to enter asap. Thank you!

I was surprised to get an email enquiry for a baby shower all the way in the summer today! Some people really do love to plan far in advance.

We have done some research and found that the Pok!mon cards will sell for more individually, so I see a lot of photos and listings in my immediate future :)

I forgot as well that yesterday I sent an email to Nutmeg (Morrison's clothing brand) as a pair of baby tights we were given had a huge hole across the gusset, looks man made to me, so hopefully they will say we can exchange them despite no reciept. It really will be a matter of pence if not, but it's the principal.

Pleased dd is better Bob - and I hope that you feel better soon too. This cold seems to have wiped me out a bit, and it's only a cold... :(

Cheers, hope you get that early night and DS lets you sleep through.

    Morning All

So the lurgy kicked in big time last night. Spent the whole night freezing and shivering. Have a horrible headache that won't shift and my throat is very painful. The only plus was realising today is still a bank holiday so I can't do the job I was planning to do anyway.
Have just watched the end of Herbie and going to stay in bed and try to nap.
