    Hi misstara

Good progress, as always. Well done. :D

I just wanted to say I've had a similar car club problem. I used a car a few times one month, and usually they take the money quite promptly, but this time they didn't. It was 2 months later when I checked my account and realised the £40 or so hadn't been taken yet. I made sure it got paid, and they were very helpful, but if that DD had gone out at the wrong time then it could have earned me a bank charge. And that would have been very annoying. I'm more careful too now about keeping an eye on it.

Anyway, I'm gald to hear most things are going to plan.

Thanks ani. How annoying but at least you realised before you were charged.

How are you today Miss Tara x

Good thanks monz, hope you're well :D

Ended up working late last night so didn't make my gym class. Crashed out early last night so woke up really early. Have had a productive day so far, cleaned the flat and done all the ironing, been to the gym, done a bit of shopping, met my gran for lunch, had a work meeting at the hospital and now heading to work. Busy busy ;). Spends for today are £8.30 on food and £4 on toiletries.

Lots of spends to report since I last posted

    Friday
My sister was here and we went for brunch at a gf cafe. Was amazing but not cheap, £15 spent. We also went for a wander round a vintage shop and I bought a wee brooch, £5. Got a promotional goodybag from there that had various bits including a £10 voucher :D

    Saturday
Went on a wee day trip to Montrose, spent £1.50 on a coffee and got a top from a charity shop, £3. Spent the evening painting at the new flat and got a takeaway, my share was £11

    Today
Food shop so £27.53 spent. Did my shift for 2nd job today so will get around £50 on Friday.

Had a lovely weekend but really need to rein in the spending. Will do a review of budgets during the week.

The carpet is being fitted tomorrow in the new flat so looking forward to that. Still haven't heard anything back from the old landlord about the deposit so better chase that up.

  • Yay for kettle bells class! I've got my next one tomorrow and have a weird relationship with it — I kind of look forward to it, because I know it's good for me and I get a great sense of accomplishment afterwards, but during the class I keep wondering why I put myself through it.... Lol!

I also need to rein in the spending.... ;)

  • Hi Miss T

Just noticed how little you have left to pay before you are debt free!! amazing. Well done xx

Just catching up on everyone's diaries. Hope all is good with you, looks like you have moved and are hitting the gym.

Wish I could get the drive to get back into the gym but there never seems enough time.

Keep smiling, will try to keep up with your diary from now on x

Yep I chased it up yesterday and got a message saying that they were applying to the deposit protection scheme to get all the deposit paid to them to cover for nicotine damage to the flat  Now just waiting for a letter from the scheme but doesn't look like we will getting any of the deposit back :(

Love kettlebells but definitely feel the same during the class ;). Went yesterday and feeling quite achy today.

Definitely need to rein in the spending, spent almost £20 on food today that we didn't really need, just can't seem to stop myself :o

Good to see you back Steph. Yeah almost there :D The debt has risen a bit due to paying for some things for the new flat, I've not added the new debt to my signature yet. I almost can't bear to :o

Now that I've moved jobs, my shift pattern makes it easier to go to the gym and really enjoying it again.
