Hi.
Just wonder if anyone can tell me if you need to saok yellow split peas. I have some but not the packaging to read the instructions. I want to make a soup .

The instructions on my pack say:-
Cover the split peas with cold water and leave to soak for twelve hours or overnight.

Give them a rapid boil for about 10 mins and then continue as normal making your soup. Works just fine as am always forgetting to soak overnight.0
