DWP Payment References

A simple problem but one I can't find an answer to anywhere.

I am sorting out my late mother's estate  and trying to fill in the form to send to the pension's dept. It asks for what benefits she was getting.
Checking her bank statements shows 3 types of payment.

"Credit Ref 'NI No.' DWP DLA"
"Credit Ref 'NI No.' DWP SP"
"Credit Ref 'NI No.' DWP XB"

Would anyone know what benefits these relate to, or where I might be able to find out?

Thanks,
Jim

    DLA = Disability living allowance

XB = Xmas Bonus (clever one that!)

SP= State pension (i think) that is an educated guess though
You can't beat an egg.........................NO WAIT!
  • Hi, The DLA one is disability living allowance; The one marked XB is the Christmas Bonus; I don't know what the other one is.

    I hope that helps.

Edit: oops I was beaten to it! and I just thanked your question by mistake when I meant to push reply so now I look really dumb!
  • Thanks very much to both of you.

I can now complete the form. :j

And don't worry about cross posting. Much better to have two answers that agree than no answers at all.

    (Thanks duly dished in return)
