Tickets for Disabled People

I want to take a friend to see Billy Elliot or Wicked in London next month for her birthday. Want to do the afternoon showing, does anyone know if Victoria Palace and / or Apollo Victoria offer a free carer ticket or reduction on tickets. Friend is registered blind, so needs to be seated in stalls near the front.
We could do Wicked in Manchester, but I like the idea of whisking her off for a day to the capital.0 -
This is great:j:j0

We booked for Miss Saigon directly and given a dress circle booking for 1 wheelchair & 1 carer for the usual price for one ! so in effect we got 2 1/2 price tickets :j
The young man who dealt with the booking asked a few questions relating to the ability of the wheelchair user , could they manage a few steps to a seat , would they need interval assistance for toilet , drinks etc..... all handled with great advice on what to do when arriving at the theatre ! well done !

I thought I’d write this handy guide, and hopefully the mods can approve it as a sticky;
This guide is about the Access and getting discounted tickets for Disabled People & Carers into arena’s [the phone number needed] and the arena name.
When you phone the direct number say you wish to book “access tickets” or disabled Booking Tickets.

Don't bother going to The Deep in Hull they have a very narrow criteria for a free carers ticket.
The disabled person must require 1 to 1 care if not the cashier will ask questions regarding the disability and then decide if the person is disabled enough !!0 -
